| WELCOME TO THE COSTA BLANCA | |
|
Costa Blanca The
White Coast of Spain has much to offer. For many years it has been a
leading tourist attraction. There can be few people in Great Britain who
have not heard of Benidorm. Receiving over 4 million visitors annually, it
is the Mediterranean largest holiday resort. Benidorm isn't everyone's
'cup of tea' but it would seem very strange to write about the Costa Blanca
without mentioning such a popular and well known place. but there is so
much more. North of Benidorm, along the stunning coastline, with
breathtaking mountains, and verdant valleys, you will find a veritable paradise.
Calpe, Moraira, Javea, Jalon, Denia and Gandia are wonderful places for holidays
or retirement. Just a litte way inland from any of these places you will
still find very traditional Spanish villages and towns, steeped in history, and
retaining a very distinctive Spanish culture. Sporting, and all types of
leisure facilities are available for all age groups and tastes. South of Alicante, Torrevieja is probably the largest and most well known town. Large numbers of British people have bought holiday homes around this area, and many people of all ages have resettled here. The famous salt flats are said to enhance the wonderful climate, and also provide a rich habitat for more than 250 species of birds, including good sized flamingo colonies. Large quantities of salt are commercially produced. Excellent golf courses are also a great attraction in this area. Villamartin, Las
Ramblas and Campoamar have become a Mecca for golfers who find the all year good
weather an advantage. But again there is so much more to see and visit.
Historic centres such as Murcia, a truly Spanish city founded by the Moors in
the 9th century. Famed for it's agriculture, it is known as the
"market garden of Spain". The many fiestas,
which take place throughout the region, seemingly most months of the year are
living evidence of the Spanish determination to preserve and celebrate their
rich and colourful culture and history. The life-style on
the Costa Blanca is a great attraction to many British people. But being
Brits they have certainly made their presence felt. British clubs
and associations of every sort are well established. They have certainly
made themselves 'at home' and regard the cheaper cost of living, the somewhat
laid back atmosphere, the super fresh food, local wine etc, and the healthy warm
climate as an added bonus. Property on the Costa Blanca has proved to be a very good investment. Prices have risen annually for several years, and seem set to continue doing so. The strong pound makes it still a good time for UK buyers.
Life on the Costa Blanca The Costa Blanca with its miles of white sandy beaches and lush inland market garden enjoys, the best climate in Europe (320 sunny days a year). Wonderful locally produced food and wine, a veritable paradise for golfers, and every sort of leisure activity that anyone could wish for. A wonderfully healthy place to spend holidays or enjoy a happy retirement. We offer a wide selection of resale and new properties in a variety of locations and price ranges. Whether you are looking for a holiday home or thinking about resettling on the Costa Blanca we can find you your "Place in the Sun". We can arrange your inspection visit. One of our associates will focus on your requirements and make sure that your time is not wasted viewing properties that don't meet your given criteria. We provide advice and appropriate introductions on all aspects of your purchase (eg legal, banking, residential etc). We assist "Every step of the Way". Famed for its fresh produce the Costa Blanca is considered by many to be the gastronomic centre of Spain. The fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables all form part of the Mediterranean Diet. The World Health Organisation considers this to be one of the healthiest environments in Europe.
